These terms and conditions set out the terms of use of Liverpool Car Auction’s online bidding. By indicating your consent during the Bidder or Vendor registration process, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Therefore, Liverpool Car Auction Ltd do not take any title to the vehicles and is acting as a third-party agent only. When a bid is Accepted a Sale Agreement is made between the Vendor and the Buyer.
BUYING
There are no warranties or guarantees given on any of the cars in our auctions. Hour clocks; mileage; condition of batteries; mechanical condition; etc, cannot be verified and should not be relied upon as being in working order. Whilst we try to describe all lots as accurately as possible to help buyers, the description should not be relied upon and you should satisfy yourself before placing a bid, hence all lots are sold as seen and pre-sale viewing is essential. However, if you choose not to take advantage of viewing a lot before bidding then you understand this is at your own risk.
ALL BIDS ARE FINAL.
If you place a bid on a lot, then you are agreeing to purchase that lot at the price you have bid and all lots must be paid for in full plus commission and VAT where applicable. Care must be always taken by the bidder whilst the auction is running as all bids are non-retractable. The “activate bid button” must be ticked on each individual lot before the system will allow you to bid in the live online auction. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you agree to pay for any lots that you bid on and this is legally binding.
THE CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION IS A GUIDE ONLY
While we have taken a great deal of care and attention in presenting the items for sale in an accurate manner, we do highly recommend that you take advantage of the viewing days to inspect the vehicles beforehand and satisfy yourself that what you are bidding for is as described. If you choose not to take advantage of viewing a lot before bidding, then you understand this is at your own risk. There are no warranties or guarantees given or implied by the auctioneer, Liverpool Car Auction Ltd. the vendor, or the catalogue. By bidding on the vehicles, we assume that you are satisfied with your pre-sale checks and will do so accordingly.
